Our SCENES Workshop is designed for up to 12 people and is suited for all aged 18 and over.
This workshop is for people who want to get more experience and confidence in preparing and presenting a character through scene work.

You will explore techniques to build a character, based on a text that you will choose. The final two sessions of the workshop will be dedicated to performing your text in a mock audition for camera.

Our 8-week course costs just €230.
We are able to offer some places at considerably reduced rates. If you would love to participate in the course but cannot afford the course cost, please get in contact with us!
In this workshop, you bring the material. Michelle will guide participants through the steps of making a good choice of text to best show off your talents.
During the first six weeks of the workshop, you will be introduced to a toolbox of tricks to help you build a convincing and well-rounded character
In the final two weeks, Michelle will walk you through the process of a filmed audition, simulating the conditions so that you feel confident to smash any audition; live or filmed.
SCENES takes place on THURSDAYS.

Michelle trained at the University of Cape Town.
She has had a joyous career on stage and screen, with highlights including playing Mrs de Kok in the 2013 film Long Walk to Freedom, and getting to walk the red carpet at Cannes after playing Elena in the award-winning South African film, Skoonheid (Beauty).
