Our learning and participation wing, The Bridge Theatre Workshops opened its doors to the community in August 2021. We believe in the importance of active engagement in the performing arts for all due to the skills it teaches, the confidence it builds and the sense of community it engenders.
Taking place every Mondays 7pm, 31 January to 27 June 2022.
20 two-hour masterclasses in different aspects of acting, from using your voice to working with Shakespeare. Take a tour of some of the greatest influences on modern theatre, led by an eclectic cohort of Brussels' finest theatre practitioners.
Taking place every Wednesday 7pm, 4 May - 8 June 2022.
The aim of this Workshop is to give participants some tools to delve into the plays and to taste them not only for the stories they tell, but also for their shape, their structure, and their connection with the authors’ poetics and intentions. We will read the plays in groups, share them among ourselves and analyse them together.
Taking place every Sundays 11am, starting 24 April 2022 (10 weeks).
Our Weekend Workshops are for people who want to get singing, acting and dancing in a non-judgemental setting. Our workshop leaders enable everyone to feel comfortable. We welcome people with little or no prior experience in musical theatre.
Stage taking place 22 August - 26 August.
Open to young people aged 10-18. Our team of theatre professionals will enable you to dive into building a character, put you through your paces in dance, and get you to reach new heights in your singing.
Our week-long summer workshop in August 2021 offered coaching in acting, singing and dancing to young people aged 10-18. The week was taught by industry professionals and included special workshops on performing techniques, ending with a performance for parents and friends.
The Bridge Theatre provided three scholarships for this workshop, widening access to those who could not otherwise afford to take part.

From September 2021, The Bridge Theatre Workshops began weekly rehearsals for people of all ages, from 10 and above, for our November show – All Together Now! For more over 9 weekends, cast members were immersed in acting, singing and dancing.
The workshop culminated in a show at the Vaudeville Theatre in central Brussels.
We plan to make our Weekend Workshops a permanent fixture in Brussels. The first term ran for 10 weeks.
Everyone participating got expert tuition in acting, singing and dancing. They did not work towards a performance as such but they ended the term with a showcase for friends and family.
