We believe in the importance of active engagement in the performing arts for all. Not only does it give you an opportunity to enhance your skills, but it also builds confidence and engenders a sense of community.
Once you have participated in any of our Workshops, you become part of our family. We are building a network of like-minded theatre enthusiasts across Brussels and we invite you to join us.
Our Workshops are open to all to attend, regardless of experience or language-background. Most (but not all!) of our Workshops are currently tailored to those aged 16+.
In order to ensure everyone gets the most out of our Workshops, we do ask for some minimum skill requirements for some of them.
As a rule, a Workshop will run weekly for 5-30 weeks. For all Workshops, except ACT, you will need to commit to attending most of the sessions.
In addition to weekly classes, we also organise a one-week summer course for 10-18-year-olds and occasional Masterclasses. Keep an eye on our newsletter to get the latest!

"The Bridge is a welcoming, versatile, innovative, professional but relaxed outfit that really enriches Brussels' theatre scene! I'm a big fan :)"
– Anonymous Workshop Participant, Spring 2022 session
"All work and no play makes Jack, Jill, others a dull boy, girl, person. We all play a lot of games while growing up and once we grow up, play seems to take a backseat and becomes a sweet memory of yesteryears. These workshops organised by The Bridge provide a safe place for people from different walks of life to come together, learn and have fun. It is a lot of fun. They help us to rediscover and connect with the child within each one of us. There is a sense of camaraderie while we learn together and learn from each other. It is amazing to see what all is possible within a short period of time when we are in a non-judgemental, trusting environment. With every workshop that I attend, I discover something new about myself. I am very grateful for these workshops."

We are working hard to open registration for our new term of Workshops as soon as possible. We hope to be able to announce this by the end of July. The new term will start on 14 September.
All of our Workshops will take place in The Bridge Theatre Studio, a space dedicated to unlocking your creativity in St Gilles. Our adult Workshops are for all aged 16 and over.
Our Workshops are fun but they are also hard work. By signing up, we ask that you make a minimum commitment of attending 70% of the sessions.
Our PLAY Workshops are 30-week course that run in 10-week modules. Each Workshop has five different levels (Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced, Master – differentiated by self-assessment) and each level is compromised of three 10-week modules (Module 1, Module 2, Module 3).
Module 1 focuses on technique.
Module 2 focuses on building performing experience.
Module 3 ends in a collective showcase performance.
You must have completed Module 1 to be admitted to Module 2, and you must have completed Module 2 to be admitted to Module 3. Nevertheless, there are multiple entry points throughout the year and Modules do not have to be completed consecutively.
Our Musical Theatre Workshops have two tracks: 10-week open-level standard Workshops for those wanting to enjoy the fun of Musical Theatre; and 30-week course over three 10-week modules for those wishing to push themselves further.
The Bridge Show Choir also runs in 10-week modules. Entry to Module 1 in September is open to all. Registration to Module 2 and 3 will require prior approval and is based on your level of musicianship.
CONNECT is a 10-week course during which participants go through a transformative experience.
SPEECHES is a five-week course in which participants get to practice their public speaking skills from a theatrical perspective.
FLOW is a five-week course where participants experiment with professional skills through a theatrical lens.
ACT Workshops are one-off masterclasses in different acting styles and techniques, with a different teacher each week!

At The Bridge Theatre, our workshops aren’t just about learning new skills—they’re about bringing people together.
Our aim is to create a welcoming space for anyone who loves the performing arts. It’s a chance to meet like-minded people, build confidence, and grow as part of a supportive community.
Every year we organise two social gatherings for our workshops participants. These events are a chance to connect, relax, and enjoy each other’s company outside of class.
