A two-day experience led by two actors from the UK's Royal Shakespeare Company: Christina Tedders and Letty Thomas.
Saturday 14 + Sunday 15 December 2024, 10.00 – 15.00 (incl. 1 hour lunch break).
For professionals, as well as amateurs with a high amount of acting experience, but less Shakespeare experience.
Fresh from a production of “As You Like It” at the Royal Shakespeare Company in England, Christina and Letty will be running a two-day intensive Shakespeare course using advanced rehearsal room approaches to cover the following in two four-hour workshops.
It’s going to be a fun take on how to unlock some of Shakespeare’s words, both individually, and looking at working with a scene partner, and as a company. Come and join us!

You may recognised Letty Thomas from The Bridge Theatre's 2023 production of GROUNDED. She will be joined by fellow actor, Christina Tedders.
This workshop is particularly suited to those with a good amount of acting experience, but are a little less experienced or confident with Shakespeare. This is your opportunity to learn to love the great man through a fun, playful session.
The Introduction of Shakespeare Masterclass will take place at our own Studio in St Gilles: Chaussee de Forest 83.
Important: while completing registration, in the box marked "Comment", please let us know your experience (acting in general + Shakespeare) and your expectations for the masterclass, so that Christina and Letty can adapt the content to best suit you!
Christina graduated from Bristol University in 2012 with an Undergraduate degree in Law. She went on to study musical theatre on the Andrew Lloyd Webber scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 2013, and recently graduated with a Masters in Digital Media Management from Birkbeck University. She additionally holds a performance diploma in both Piano and Violin.
Before graduating from the Academy, Christina was cast in the original west end company of Once The Musical. Her other acting credits include As You Like It (Celia)
and The Fair Maid of the West (swing) for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (Mrs Beaver) West End and tour, The Commitments (Bernie) and Calamity Jane (Adelaide Adams) no.1 UK tours, and A Little Night Music (Petra), Watermill Theatre.
